Home Exchange - Web Site Upgrades Part Three
Today I continue with an ongoing series of posts covering all the major features included in our pending ExchangeHomes.com web site upgrade.
In part three I will cover a major change to the web site that will allow registered members (both Full and Associate) to rate any member with whom they have already completed a home exchange. This can be accomplished in two different ways:
- Members will find a link in their Admin Area which they can click to begin the process
- Each listing will contain a link “Rate This Exchange”.
After a listing has received rating feedback it will available within 24 hours for other members to read and consider when making choices. Both positive and negative feedback will always be published.
The rating will actually consist of a series of questions pertaining both to the exchange home and how you found your own home upon your return. Each question will ask you to rate it on a scale of one to ten, ten being highest. In addition you will be able to include your own comment in a text box.
We feel this new feature will become a significant tool for members evaluating likely home exchange partners and we hope all of you will not only use it yourself, but also encourage your exchange partners to do likewise.
