The home is located on a quite culdesac with a beautiful mountain backdrop to the east. They say you could walk up their street and be in the mountains in about 5 minutes. They are centrally located between all major ski resorts, 45 minutes southeast to Park City, Deer Valley, The Canyons, Alta and Snowbird. 30 minutes northeast are Powder Mountain and Solitude area. Easy freeway access and 20 minutes from Salt Lake Airport.

They are a family of 3 adults, one teen and one 7 year old child and they are also offering to exchange cars – another great savings!

Home Exchange Request – Northern California to Ireland

Regrettably, I have another request for a “rescue” home exchange partner. Member 4955 lives in Derrybeg, Co. Donegal, Ireland and has airline tickets to fly to San Francisco between July 30th and August 15th (when they will be moving on to visit friends in Atlanta) ,returning to Ireland on Sunday August 24th. Their home in Derrybeg will be available throughout that period of time.

The member states: “We were planning to stay in a hotel in San Francisco for a few nights and we are seeking accommodation on the West Coast (California if possible ) for the period August 2nd to 15th. The Exchange party could stay in our property in Donegal Ireland up to August 23rd”.

Although they are flying in and out of San Francisco, I’m certain this member and his family would be receptive to just about any exchange offer from the west coast in general.

County Donegal, on the west coast of Ireland is exquisitely beautiful (I’ve been there myself) and I’m certain it would provide a really memorable home exchange for a lucky family.

Home Exchange Member from Australia Needs Swap to England

Last week we heard of an unfortunate incident whereby an ExchangeHomes.com member is urgently seeking a replacement home exchange to England, preferably the west country.

They need an exchange between Saturday September 6th, 2008 and Saturday 20th September. To see their listing, click >> Here Any arrangements don’t have to be simultaneous because their exchange property—located in Dunsborough, Western Australia is a rental property.

The couple looking for your help are new participants in home exchange. They were in negotiations with another couple in the west country, but these arrangements fell through suddenly and unexpectedly when a family situation made exchanging during these dates impossible.

I’ve recently received a last minute request from ExchangeHomes.com member VH25490:

Does lots and lots of white, powdery snow and a nice, warm house close to the ski areas to come home to sound like just the winter time getaway you’ve been looking for? We live in the heart of Colorado ski country and are going to be in Florida for a cruise out of Miami Jan 3-12 and with friends until Jan 17. Please take a look at our listing: VH25490 and contact us if your home is in southern Florida and you would like to do an exchange sometime between Jan 17th and 28th. We will have our computer with us and check email before and after the cruise.

This is the only last minute request I have currently, but I must admit it looks particularly attractive. I’d be more than happy to be on either end of the arrangement
